Heating Directions
- Question: How do I prepare my grub for my child to eat?
- Answer: Your Organic Baby Grub is pre-cooked, when applicable (ie: squash is roasted, carrots are boiled). To warm your grub, we recommend placing your cubes in a microwave safe dish and heating for 15-20 seconds (1-2 cubes). Each microwave heats differently. Be sure to check the temperature after 15 seconds, stir, then continue to heat as needed. Your grub may also be warmed in a pot on the stove, at a very low heat or thawed in the refrigerator overnight. Always test the temperature before serving to your children to prevent burning.
Blended Foods
- Question: Does OBG make any blended foods?
- Answer: It is recommended that beginner eaters try new fruits and vegetables independently to rule out any allergies or digestive troubles. Therefore, we recommend that you offer your grubber individual foods to try and once you know their tolerance of these foods, create new flavors by blending two to three cubes. Occassionally, blends are available for the lumpy and chunky stages, like our Pumpkin Apple.
